Terms of Service

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Sales Studio is the trading name used by the developer and supplier of VolumePilot. Paddle is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for paid purchases.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using VolumePilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software. Mandatory rights under the law of your country are not limited by these Terms.

2. The product

VolumePilot is a Windows desktop utility for microphone-aware audio control. A free version is available. VolumePilot Pro unlocks the paid features shown on the product and checkout pages. System compatibility and feature availability may change as the software is updated.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use VolumePilot for lawful purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, bypass licensing controls, or use the software to harm systems or other people.

4. Pro plans and renewal

You can cancel a subscription through the link in Paddle emails or the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; access normally continues through the paid billing period unless a refund or applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Checkout and payment

Paddle.com Market Limited or another Paddle entity shown at checkout is the merchant of record and authorized reseller. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, applicable taxes, subscription administration, and eligible refunds. Your purchase is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms.

6. License activation

Pro features require activation. To prevent abuse, the licensing service may validate your key and a device identifier, enforce activation limits, and periodically recheck entitlement. Do not share or publish your license key. We may suspend keys obtained fraudulently, refunded, charged back, or used in material violation of these Terms.

7. Updates and availability

We may provide fixes, security updates, and feature changes. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device, audio driver, application, or future Windows version. We may discontinue the product or individual features with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VolumePilot is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss caused by device configuration, third-party software, or interrupted audio. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or your mandatory consumer rights.

9. Privacy and refunds

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. Our Refund Policy explains cancellation and refund requests.

10. Governing terms and disputes

Paddle's Buyer Terms govern the purchase transaction, payment, taxes, subscription billing, and Paddle-provided refund process. These Terms govern your license to use VolumePilot. Nothing in either set of terms removes mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under the law that applies where they live. Before starting a formal dispute about the product, please contact us so we can try to resolve it; this does not limit any legal deadline or right to contact a regulator, consumer body, or court.

11. Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. For product, privacy, or legal questions, contact Sales Studio support.
